Sugar desert and chocolate camels

“Tasty Uzbekistan”

The first and greatest culinary gastronomic map  “Tasty Uzbekistan” has been registered as a record by the “Interrecord” International Agency of records registration.
 
 
The culinary gastronomic map of Uzbekistan occupies about 18 sq. metres. Each region of our country, with its landscapes, rivers, lakes, woods and mountains, steppes and deserts are designated by known local gastronomic and culinary brands.
 
 
The country on the map is covered by a green covering of sprouted wheat beeds. Khorezm is presented by the well-known grades of rice. In territory of Karakalpakstan is marked by fried chuchvara (dumplings). The Kyzyl- Kum desert is made of navat (traditional Uzbek crystal sugar). The map creators have used shurdanak (apricot kernel roasted in ash) to indicate Bukhara, black raisins to frame Samarkand and yellow sultana raisins to light up Namangan.
 
 
You may find here famous Dzhizak samosa as well. The map is decorated by chocolate camels, minarets from chak-chak (small pieces of fried pastry mixed with raisins, walnut and honey ), the rivers and lakes from parvarda ( local dessert made from rich sugar syrup).
 
 
The tasty map of Uzbekistan has been presented by its creators - Bakhriddin Chusty, the restaurateur and Zabikhullo Toirov, the Chef Pâtissier of Shirapaz Confectionery House. The event is supported by the Academy of Restaurant Business.
 
 
The “Interrecord” International Agency of  records registration is the second big agency after "Guinness Records Book" as per the number of registered records.
